Pickleball at Mission Bay Resort

Pickleball Outing presented by Sports + Entertainment Committee $30++ includes Knead pastries and bottled water equipment and lessons Join us for an exciting Pickleball event at the stunning Mission Bay Resort. Whether you're new to the game or an experienced player, we've got you covered! Location: Mission Bay Resort, 1775 E. Mission Bay Dr, San Diego Parking: Street parking available on East Mission Bay Drive outside the entrance to the Mission Bay Resort. Please see the attached map to view the location of the pickleball courts. We encourage everyone to arrive at least 30 minutes early to ensure you have enough time to find parking and locate the courts so that gameplay can begin promptly. Format: A coach/coordinator will kick off with a 20-30 minute intro session for new players, covering the fundamentals, rules, and scoring. Experienced players can warm up on adjacent courts before a friendly round-robin tournament begins. Every round lasts 10 minutes with rotating partners, ensuring everyone gets a chance to play and meet new people. What to Bring: Water bottle to stay hydrated Sunscreen, hat, or sunglasses for sun protection A positive attitude and readiness for fun! What to Wear: Court shoes – Proper footwear is essential to ensure safety and performance on the court. Please avoid running shoes or shoes with uneven soles, as they may not provide the stability needed for quick lateral movements. Comfortable athletic attire suitable for outdoor play Light layers in case of weather changes. Additional Information: All equipment (paddles and balls) will be provided. A court monitor will be available to provide instruction and manage rotations, ensuring everyone stays engaged. 72 hours cancellation period is strictly enforced.
